People were lined up outside of the Rambo Memorial Health Center today, filling out identification forms while they waited to get their flu shots. Shots are free for Muskingum County residents. That doesn't mean residents of other counties will be turned away, but they will have to pay $10 for immunization. Rambo Memorial Health Center Executive Director Cindy Harrison says everyone over the age of six months old should think about the benefits of being immunized against the flu. However, people allergic to eggs, who have fevers or are severly ill should consult medical professionals before being immunized. The health center will continue to offer the free shots througout the month. Mobile units will be dispersed to area shopping centers next week. For more scheduled times and dates, contact the health center.
