More than 9,000 people die every year from oral cancer. Today the Zanesvile-Muskingum County Health Department was offering free dental exams and $25.00 to men who use snuff or chewing tobacco on a daily basis as a part of a research project. The Ohio State Medical Center is researching if high blood pressure and dental health problems exist in snuff and tobacco users. For more information contact 740-455-2217.
