To the victors go the spoils or at least in St. Thomas School's case, the sweets. Students have been participating in a program that helps fund school needs by collecting box tops off of designated food packages. To reward students for their diligent work cutting and keeping box tops, St. Thomas parent Lisa Smith and principal Mike Sens devised a plan to allow students to throw whipped cream pies at school officials. Students had to collect at least five box tops to be able to throw pies. School officials say 2,000 box tops have already been collected.
