The Women's Auxiliary of the Salvation Army cooked up an idea to help the flailing Coats for Kids drive. They've spent the past three days baking and designing one-hundred-fifty dozen pumpkin designed cookies. Members say the bake sale reulted in sweet sucess, raising nearly five-hundred dollars. If you didn't already place an order for cookies, you've missed out this time, but the ladies said people can still help raise money for the coat drive, even if they missed the cookie sale. The Auxiliary will be hosting a fall luncheon and style show on November 9th at the Salvation Army. Tickets are twelve dollars each. For more details contact the Salvation Army on Putnam Avenue in Zanesville.
