A Muskingum county family is homeless tonight after a fire destroyed their home. It happened Wednesday night to Tiffany Dunn, Travis Riggs and their six-month old daughter. The fire started in the baby's room of their mobile home at 1164 Gayla drive. No one was home when the fire started. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Both the South Zanesville and Newton township volunteer fire departments responded to the blaze. The Muskingum Valley Red Cross is helping the family with clothing, food, lodging and medical needs. Red Cross executive director Dan Hartman, who's organization helps all fire victims, says this is the sixth fire in the last 11 days in our area.
