Detectives of the Zanesville Police Department have launched an investigation into a bank robbery that occured around 9:20 Saturday at Bank One located at 1200 Brandywine Boulevard. According to Detective Ric Roush, a 30-year old black male described as having a medium build and standing 6-foot tall, casually entered the bank Saturday morning demanding cash. The suspect then fled on foot. Although there were some indications that the suspect could have possibly been armed, no gun was seen. Also the detectives do not believe that there is a connection between this robbery and a robbery that occured at Century National Bank in South Zanesville 3 weeks ago. No one was injured during the incident.
