The Noble county sheriff's office is searching for a prisoner who escaped over the weekend. Sheriff Landon Smith says that 23-year-old Jeramee Hudson of Columbus took off Sunday. He was being held on a second degreee burglary charge. He escaped from an outside recreation area by crossing a creek then climbing an embankment leading to state route 78. He reportedly escaped in a older model dark colored Chevy Astro van. Sheriff Smith says detectives are following up some leads in the case.
