Four local elementary schools will be replenished with supplies and their students will be better prepared to beat the winter cold. It's all thanks to the local efforts of area Apostolic churches, who wanted to help the community's youth. The Apostolic Ministerial Association joined with the Zanesville City Schools and decided to help students with extra pens and pencils. The much-needed supplies will come in the form of a $5,000.00 monetary donation raised by the Association. The students will also get winter gear such as sweatshirts, gloves, hats and other clothes. According to Zanesville City Schools superintendent Mike Pockl, this project is at the perfect time of year, "the season of love, caring and giving." Rufus-Putnam, Munson, Wilson and Pioneer school students will benefit from this important donation.
