The Muskingum county sheriff's office is investigating a neighborhood dispute that turned into a shooting. Chief deputy Wes Elson says it happened on 3rd street in Philo Wednesday night. Elson says deputies arrested 34-year-old Vicki Nutter for disorderly conduct by intoxication and while placing her in a cruiser her husband, Keith, came out of the house with a 12 guage shotgun. Elson says the deputies ordered Nutter to put the gun down after he made a menacing comment. Elson says the gun discharged striking Nutter in the left hand. He was taken to Good Samaritan hospital with a serious injury. The investigation into the incident continues.
