The big holiday has come, and gone. Now what are you going to do with your Christmas tree? Thousands of trees get wasted every year because many people aren't aware of how they can dispose of them in a way that will help our environment. Environmental services say that each year trees are carelessly, and illegally-abandoned on city streets or dumped. To prevent this from occuring the city strongly advises residents to help by recycling those trees. There are several places that you can drop them off including: Muskingum County Fairgrounds, Lowes on Frazeysburg Road, City of Zanesville Street Department, South Zanesville Village Park, Duncan Falls, New Concord, and The Dresden Swim Center.
