It was "Troop Boot Camp" for some area girl scouts today. Before cookies can be sold training has to take place first. Today girl scouts, and troop leaders teamed up for their annual Girl Scout Rally. This event is where they learn some important training techniques while out on the field. The educational program has been around for 90-years, and is currently being used in nine of Ohio's counties. Last years cookie sales provided over 300-thousand dollars in profits to the troops. Many times they will use that money for community service projects that are going on throughout their area. There are eight different types of cookies to choose from, and if you would like to place and order you can reach them at 740-454-8563 ext.35
