A Muskingum county family is homeless today after a Monday afternoon fire. It took three crews to control the blaze. The Licking, Washington and Muskingum township fire departments responded to the call at 33-95 Creamery road. Brian Harmon, his wife, Jody and their two kids were not home at the time of the fire. And although there is no official word yet on the cause of the blaze, it is believed that it started somewhere in the kitchen. The family does have insurance. The Muskingum Valley Red Cross is assisting the family.
