The Zanesville Salvation Army shelter is open for business. Every year when the weather turns cold the shelter fills up and this year is no exception. The local shelter has the capacity to house 36 people, but many times they are forced to double that capacity. Shelter manager Sharon Shaw says no one is turned away. In addition to helping homeless people, the Salvation Army also helps with extended living arrangements while people look for a job.
