The call is going out today from the United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan counties. The annual fundraising campaign is underway, but donations are down. Executive director Keely Warden says the campaign stands at 850-thousand dollars and this time last year the effort was at one-million dollars. Warden says she is concerned about the campaign. Warden says she understands the economy is rocky right now, but she wants people to understand that the need for the money is up. All of the United Way funded agencies need more support. If you would like to donate you can by calling the United Way in Zanesville at 740-454-6872.
