About 450 guardsman from two Ohio Army National guard units received mobilization orders this week to help with both homeland security and the war on terrorism abroad. The 112th engineer battalion headquartered in the Cleveland suburb of Brook Park will mobilize about 350 soldiers on January 30th to help with security in the Midwest. The 372nd maintenance company headquartered in Cleveland will mobilize about 100 soldiers to support U-S Central Command overseas. The support maintenance can quickly repair automotive and ground equipment. So far no Southeastern Ohio units have been called to duty.
