The Zanesville Board of Zoning Appeals met this week to address numerous zoning requests. The B-Z-A approved a number of projects. One of them involved the Taco Bell restaurant on Maple avenue. The company request was approved to build a new Taco Bell restaurant with a better drive through capabilities and more parking. While construction is underway for the new building, which will be built on a lot next to the current site, the existing restaurant will remain open. The zoning board also approved construction of a building addition to the Woodlawn church of Christ, and an increase of a freestanding sign for the Richey sign company. The B-Z-A also approved a request from Greenwood Homes pertaining to dimension changes of several homes to be built for the revitalization project. The board says it approved these changes in order to allow all the homes to be similar.
