Basketball pride dribbled and bounced its way through Rosecrans High School Saturday evening. During halftime of the Bishops' game, center court was crowded with the school's three girls basketball state championship teams for a special ceremony to commemorate the athletic achievements of these high school heroes. Players from the championship teams of the '82, '83. and '92 seasons welcomed the opportunity to share their fondest basketball memories...Stacy Burns and Susan Denbow, from the '92 season said the best memories they have are "from the caravan ride home, with Mayor Swope...and the community waiting to congratulate us," and when they "won the state championship and the crowd ran to floor..." Mary West, from the '82 and '83 seasons said her best memory is a song the team made up after winning the state title.
