A celebration ceremony took place to honor the Zanesville spelling bee champion. Today the Muskingum Christian Academy staff members gave their praises to Jennifer Rittberger who is this year’s winner. The 8th grader’s hard work and school studies have paid off. This is the first year for the school to have their students compete in the bee, and staff members say this victory is going to make them prepare even harder in the year’s to come. Jennifer received a 200-dollar savings bond from Century National Bank, along with a trophy. The state competition will be her next step. It’s scheduled for March 22nd at the Ohio University Campus.
