Zanesville Wal-Mart gives a 35-hundred dollar check to an area organization. The eastside community Ministry received the contribution today, and their executive director Jack McClelland says they are very surprised in receiving this gift, and will use the money to provide meals for families in need. Every year the Wal-Mart associates choose a different organization to contribute to, and this year the amount of money raised was much larger that the years before. The Zanesville store manager says the money is collected during the busiest time of year December. Then is later distributed to the selected organization. Wal-Mart’s’ corporate office has implemented this program to every Wal-Mart throughout the Nation.
