A 30-hour famine will take place for members of one local church. Starvation and malnutrition problems throughout the world have raised a huge concern to the youth group of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Zanesville. The youth group and other church members will begin fasting on February 28th and during that time they will collect money from area businesses and residents. The group will also take part in community service programs. The C.M.A. church is asking for other churches to get involved with this project as a team effort in helping the hungry. If you would like to donate to the organization or would like to be involved you can call them at 452-2603. You can also make donations to the World Vision at www.30hourfamine.org.
