Newark Man Loses License For Life After Fatal Crash

A Newark man was sentenced to four years in prison and has had his driver’s license suspended forever after a fatal car crash last spring. 19-year-old Phillip Carter, had faced a possible maximum sentence of 11 and a half years in prison and 25 thousand dollars in fines. He pleaded no contest in December to aggravated vehicular homicide and vehicular assault. Passengers Cliff Heaton and Jennifer Pintz died in the crash that happened last May.
