More than 300 sex offenders can’t be located across the state of Ohio because they failed to register their address, as required by law. That figure represents three-point-three percent of the more than nine thousand people listed on the state’s sex offender registration network. In Muskingum county sheriff Bob Stephenson says there are 64 registered sexual offenders. He added that one of Muskingum County’s sex offenders is in custody in Florida for not registering and another cannot be located. Ohio’s offender network was established in 1997 by the state’s version of “Megan’s Law.”
