The state senate is on track to vote on a correction to Ohio’s budget next week. Senator Bill Harris of Ashland -- a republican who heads the finance committee – says his panel should vote on the bill Tuesday with the full senate to vote on it Wednesday. Harris is trying to find a way to make up the gap between the 566 million dollars the house approved to fix the budget and the 720 million dollars Governor Taft estimates is necessary. Taft blames the budget shortfall on a sour economy.
