The Whiz Media Group is proud to announce that its new chief Meteorologist Wesley Sass will be on the air tonight at 6 p.m. to keep southeastern Ohio viewers informed about the big snow and ice storm heading our way. He will also provide updated forecasts on Z-102 and A-M 1240 radio throughout the day. Sass comes to the Whiz news team from Dubuque, Iowa. Sass started in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at KGAN as weekend meteorologist in September of 2002. He then moved to KFXB in Dubuque, Iowa as chief meteorologist. WHIZ news director George Hiotis says “Wesley timing could not have been better, we have a big storm heading our way and he’s ready to inform our viewers and listeners about it.”
