Adult probationers in Muskingum County are paying their dues by picking up litter. The probation department issues community service hours to those who are sentenced in common pleas court. With the weather becoming warmer, some of those hours are being spent outdoors. Doug Pollock, Chief Adult Probation Officer, says probationers work all day long with each of them walking around six miles picking up litter. According to Pollock, the crew of nine removed a ton of trash on Licking Road. Each weekend they will concentrate on different areas in the county.
