The reality of war is hard to deal with if you're an adult. But if you are a child, it's even more difficult. Through a program called "Words Of Wisdom", Wilson Elementary School is helping students deal with the effects of war. Each morning, students hear a war related thought of the day read by the school's principal. According to Principal Martin, this helps students learn the facts of the war and deal with their feelings. And by the responses heard from students, it seems to be a very effective way in dealing with such a complex topic for children. Principal Martin also says that many of the parents stay to listen to the thought of the day so they can discuss the war with their children at home.
