An argument over a microwave takes a turn for the worse for a Coshocton County resident. Just before 8 p.m. Saturday evening, 22-year old Jason Cushman of Coshocton, confronted 26-year old Shane Dubosh also from Coshocton, about stealing his microwave. The two men began arguing on the front lawn of Dubosh’s home. The verbal debate would quickly turn into a physical battle that lasted around forty-five seconds. Cushman then headed to the sheriff’s office to file an assault complaint against Dubosh. What he didn’t know is that Dubosh had already alerted a sheriff’s deputy, who was standing outside the building, stating that Dubosh was responsible for the incident. Soon after, Dubosh was taken to the Coshocton Memorial Hospital by ambulance and later taken to Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus by med-flight. He is currently listed in stable condition and may be facing charges. As for Cushman, he is currently being held in the Coshocton County Jail and is being charged with second-degree felonious assault. His bond hearing is set for tomorrow.
