Family members and friends host a benefit for the children of Bobbie Waller-Moorehead, who was killed in an automobile accident, nearly one month ago. Moorehead was thirty years old and the second oldest of seven children. Family members say she spent most of her time with her children. Now that she is gone, relatives are left with raising her four-year-old daughter Destiny Rogers and son Guy Reid, who is twelve years old. To help provide a better future for the children, volunteers spent the day raising money. That money will go towards the youngster’s college education. The benefit included: a bake sale, silent auction, haircuts, and half and half drawings. If you didn’t get a chance to participate in the fundraising event, but wish to help out you still can. Donations are being accepted for both children at the Zane Trace Credit Union in South Zanesville.
