Ohio's Jobless Rates Remains Steady

The State Department of Job and Family Services says Ohio’s unemployment rate was six-point-one percent in March, unchanged from the revised rate in February. The national rate remained steady at five-point-eight percent. The Job and Family Services Department says today the rate for February had been six percent but was changed based on more current data. There were 361-thouand unemployed workers in Ohio in March, two-thousand more than in February. A year ago, the March unemployment rate was five-point-eight percent
