Muskingum County has announced the purchase of the Maysville Middle School building. Last week the county commissioners finalized buying the building. On Monday they approved the final piece of legislation: signing the water line into the county’s name. According to commissioner Don Madden the building will house several local agencies in need of additional office space. Madden says a specific time frame on when the agencies will move into the building is too difficult to pinpoint. He predicts it will be before the end of the year.
