The National Road Zane Grey Museum in Norwich, hosted a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. US 40 from Maryland to Illinois received the “All American Road Designation.” The formal ribbon-cutting event was designed to show community members the importance of preserving our history in the future. In order to receive the designation, a road must possess multiple intrinsic qualities that have national significance and have one-of-a-kind features. Officials from Muskingum, Belmont, Guernsey, Licking, and Franklin counties attended the event.
