Less than a month after announcing over 400 lay-offs, the Longaberger Company announced Thursday more employees would be losing their jobs. Longaberger officials attribute the layoff of 150 administrative and managerial positions to a weak economy. The lay-offs are effective immediately.
The company says it is offering support services such as income and benefit continuation for a limited time period to employees.
Thursday’s announcement comes just weeks after the company announced it was laying off 461 employees at its manufacturing operations in Frazeysburg and Hartville.
