It’s a day to remember, to thank others, and to reflect. Many across the nation took time out to honor the men and women who have lost their lives defending our country. Here in Muskingum County, many services were held to commemorate these brave soldiers. At the Greenwood Cemetery one such service embraced the message of freedom and hope. In all, 253 new names were read during the service…the names of soldiers from Muskingum County residents that have dies within the past year. One this Memorial Day, and everyday, it’s important to take time to thank those who have given their lives for our freedom.
