It’s been a busy weekend, but the long break from work is not over yet...and the State Highway Patrol is reminding everyone to stay safe while driving. So far this weekend, the State Patrol reports zero fatalities across the state. Here in Muskingum County troopers have been patrolling the streets to keep driving safe. According to Sgt. Clark Felix with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, there have been 500 arrests made for speed violations, safety belt and other moving violations, and 13 DUI arrests. As for traffic overall, the Patrol anticipates increased flow on Monday night and Tuesday as people return home and to work.
