It’s a labor of love and a celebration of Ohio’s 200th birthday at the Muskingum County Senior Center. Two women have devoted time and energy into painting replicas of some of the bicentennial barns throughout the state. Marjorie Johnson and Phyllis Taylor have painted more than 20 pictures of bicentennial barns. The two women both love painting. The have taken pictures of barns throughout the area, and gotten pictures off the internet of what barns look like from counties around the state. The pictures will be on display throughout the county during the next few months.
