Not only has flooding been a major concern for those living in certain areas in the county, but also for farmers who depend on the weather to grow their crops. And the weather has been all but cooperative for agricultural needs in the county. Some corn did get planted din April, but now farmers are well past the time period for corn planting. Hay a third important cash crop from Muskingum County is also suffering because of the wet weather.
