Some state funding is headed to southeastern Ohio. State Senator Jim Carnes says its part of the 3.4 million dollars in Nature Works grants to parks and recreation areas across the state. In our area just over 35,000 is coming to Muskingum County to develop a skateboard park in South Zanesville. In Noble County 51,000 dollars will be used to build a playground in Belle Valley and 41,000 dollars will be used for a playground at the Noble County fairgrounds. Coshocton County will get just under 20,000 dollars for a wading pool in Warsaw. And in Guernsey County, just over 17,000 dollars will be used for a picnic area in Kimbolton and 8,000 dollars will be used for a fitness path at the Cambridge Park.
