Genesis Plans Expense Reductions

Genesis HealthCare System president and chief executive officer Tom Sieber shared details of the organization’s plan to improve its financial position. The plan, which includes activities to reduce expenses and increase revenue, calls for a reduction of 75 to 100 employees by July 1st. All employees with hired hours who are laid off will be offered outplacement services to prepare them in seeking another job. They will also get severance benefits that my include a continuation of health benefits.
