Sex Offenders At Lancaster Bootcamp

For the second time in two years, an employee at a military-style boot camp is Fairfield County has been accused of improper sexual conduct with a youthful offender. A Grand Jury last week indicted Drill Instructor Christopher Toops of Logan on three counts of unlawful sexual conduct and three counts of sexual battery. The charges result from allegations by a 14-year-old girl. Two year ago a camp worker, 34-year-old Thomas Taylor the Third, was charged with sex offences. He served three months in prison after pleading guilty to attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The director of the camp near Bremen, Larry Cunningham, said ha is doing his best to hire a professional staff.
