School Bus Extracation

Some Zanesville firefighters received training of a different kind today. Firefighters learned to use a new high-pressure air chisel in the event they would need to extract children from school buses. Alongside Lieutenant Rick Cosman of the Columbus Fire Department, firefighters practiced making emergency entrances into the buses. Robert Hinesman, Assistant Fire Chief of the Zanesville Fire Department says old tools that would have been used in past emergency situations may not have been able to do the job.
