The Zane Grey Museum first opened its doors in June of 1973. Today, local residents and even some of the museum’s creators gathered to celebrate the 30th anniversary. Visitors toured the museum, as well as enjoying some special events including an artwork display from former Norwich resident Keith Wilde and a book signing of the Muskingum County Heritage Farms book, which was available to the public for the first time today. Whether you were a frequent visitor or a new guest to the museum, there was plenty of history to go around. The creators encourage everyone to come out and visit the museum, where the history of the national road can be learned without even reading a word.
