Two people are dead after a one-vehicle accident Monday morning on Creamery Road. According to the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 6:49. A 1987 Ford Mustang driven by 22-year-old Joseph J. King of Nashport was traveling westbound on Creamery. Trooper Mike Warner with the patrol says King went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, went off the left side of the roadway, eventually striking a barn. He was pronounced dead at the scene. King’s passenger, 43-year-old Brian E. Tignor, also of Nashport, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Trooper Warner cites excessive speed as the cause of the accident. Tignor and King were relatives.
