American Electric Power crews are all over Muskingum County and the rest of central and southern Ohio trying to restore power after storms last night and early this morning. More are expected this afternoon.
A-E-P’s Terri Flora says it’s going to be a while before all power is restored due to the scattered nature of the outages. In Muskingum County alone as of 2:00 p.m. there were 8000 customers without power. In Licking County there are almost 17-thousand customers in the dark and 2200 without service in Coshocton County. Flora says it will be late tomorrow or well into Thursday before all service is restored.
