Former Convenience Store Employee Pleads Guilty

A former employee at the Clark Station on Putnam Ave. who lied to police pleaded guilty to a Prosecutor’s Bill of Information Wednesday. 22-year-old Amanda Wyatt was facing one count of theft and one count of falsification. Police say on June 22, Wyatt reported a robbery where two suspects stole money and lottery tickets. As it turns out, Wyatt actually stole the money and tickets. The total theft amount was $1,263. Prosecutors are recommending community control and full restitution for Wyatt. She will be sentenced in about a month.
