On Wednesday night 21-year-old Michael Allen of Zanesville was shot in the head as head attempted to settle a minor dispute in the 400 block of Spangler Drive. Police took 21-year-old Jeremy Smith into custody. He is being held as a material witness to the homicide. According to Detective Ric Roush, early Friday morning 17-year-old Myron Tuttle turned himself in to police. Tuttle in currently being held in the county’s juvenile detention center as a material witness. Roush said 17-year-ol Jarod Higgins turned himself in Friday afternoon to police. He is also in the juvenile detention center, but is being charged with one count of aggravated murder. The three will go before Muskingum County Grand Jury Wednesday.
