Public support continues at a second groundbreaking this afternoon for the North Middle School on Blue Avenue. This is the second of two middle schools ready for construction, and with the completion of one elementary school, phase one of the project will be complete. Phase two plans for four elementary schools and a new high school, all to be completed by 2008. Michael Pockl, superintendent of Zanesville schools said the new facilities will be state of the art. He said when it came time to talk about new schools, the public really got involved, with over 600 people joining to help.
