Temporary Protection Order Conviction Lifted

The Ohio Supreme Court has overturned the conviction of a woman who invited he ex-husband to a party, against a temporary protection order. According to court records, Betty Lucas of Newark invited he ex to a birthday party. During the party the two drank several beers and eventually got in a domestic fight. Both were charged with domestic violence and Lucas was also charged and later convicted of complicity to violate a protective order. However that conviction was overturned Wednesday in a seven to zero vote.
