A new poll finds that a majority of Ohioans didn’t approve of the job Governor Taft is doing, although his approval rating was up slightly since a similar poll in May. The Ohio Poll – sponsored and conducted by the University of Cincinnati – found that 44 percent of the Ohio adults it surveyed between September 4th and September 19th approved of the job Taft is doing. The poll also found that 46 percent disapproved of Taft’s job performance. In May an Ohio poll found that 40 percent of those surveyed approved of Taft’s performance, while 50 percent did not. The telephone survey of 805 adults had a margin of error of plus or minus three-and-a-half percentage points.
