Muskingum Trail Gets 290,000 Dollar Grant

Governor Bob Taft today announced a major grant to help a project in Muskingum County. The Governor says 290,000 dollars is headed to the Muskingum Valley Park District for the Muskingum Recreational Trail. The funds will be used for 2.3 miles of the project that includes two routes in Dresden. Taft says the Clean Ohio Trails grants
are an important part of the state’s vision to create an statewide network of interconnected recreational trails. In all 6.2 million dollars in grants were handed out today.
