The 1st annual Rocktoberfest in Muskingum County is right around the corner. The planning committee met today to discuss the event for one last time. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 19th. It will be held at the Zane Landing Park in Zanesville. It begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 11 p.m. Vicki LeVeck, Roctoberfest Chairperson, says their will be a variety of activities going on throughout the day including: a classic car cruise-in, live entertainment, and a section of fun just for children. The family fun day will help raise money for the Alfred S. C.A.R.R. Center; committee organizers say they are still in need of volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering your time or for more information about the event you can contact the C.A.R.R. Center at 453-5417.
